Canadian Italian Business and Professional Association

The Canadian Italian Business and professional Association (CIBPA) was founded in 1949 in Montreal as a non-profit organization to promote and unite businesspersons and professionals of Italian origin or descent. Today, the CIBPA regroups more than 400 members, making it the leading association of business and professional persons working in the Montreal area. CIBPA's mission is to offer to business people and professionals of Italian origin a complete range of services and activities to encourage the development and growth of their professional and cooperates in the development of the industrial, commercial, professional and economic welfare of its members. It also assists and nurtures young members of the Italian community to develop and grow into the business and professionals of tomorrow.

CIBPA is an integral component of Canada's Italian community and provides economic, political and socio-cultural leadership for its members and associates. CIBPA has raised and distributed 2 million dollars through its Bursary program since its inception in 1961, thus helping to ensure that economic hardship would not prevent talented young Canadian of Italian descent from pursuing post secondary studies.
