THANK YOU

Public Forum declared a Huge success!

April 12, 2007 - I’m glad to report that nearly two hundred people attended the Public Forum on Wednesday at the Hilton Bonaventure Hotel in Montreal Centre to discuss the future of the English-speaking communities of Montreal.

The information and opinions that were recorded last night and throughout the duration of the initiative will form the content of a final report which will contain a series of recommendations and objectives for the future vitality of the English-Speaking communities of the Greater Montreal Area.

This final report will be released early this summer and distributed to all levels of government. It will also be available to the community at-large on the QCGN website at www.qcgn.ca .

For those of you who missed it, there is still time to submit your comments by email at gmcdi@qcgn.ca .

I wish to thank the English-speaking communities of Montreal for their overwhelming support for this initiative, which has contributed to a fresh leadership approach for the English-speaking communities.

Don Taylor
Chair, GMCDI Steering Committee
