Quebec Association for Lifelong Learning
The Quebec Association for Lifelong Learning (QALL) was established in 1981 to provide leadership in matters pertaining to lifelong learning. We have created a collective voice to promote learning opportunities for adults who pursue the acquisition of new knowledge, aptitudes, and skills primarily in the English language. We do this by promoting equality of access, supporting providers of adult learning services, raising public awareness of issues related to adult learning, and facilitating the exchange of information and resources. An example of support provided by QALL was the development of the Centre for Literacy of Quebec at Dawson College, founded through QALL in 1989.
QALL is currently the only independent adult education community organization in Canada. Our volunteers and students - all dedicated to promoting adult learning. Community/Not-for-profit organizations, and Student/Seniors. This diverse membership provides links to every type of adult learning, from basic literacy to distance learning to CEGEP and university education.
